Mpumalanga, meaning ‘place of the rising sun’, most visitors to the area spend a day or more in the Kruger National Park (KNP), one of the world’s biggest and finest game sanctuaries in the world.
KwaZulu Natal is a province of vivid contrasts and a magnetic appeal to holidaymakers. Besides the two World Heritage sites – the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park – is a melting-pot of Zulu, European and Indian cultures.
The Garden Route is a necklace of cliffs, bays, beaches and towns, strung along a beautiful coastline. Towering mountains, stately oaks, fertile vineyards and whitewashed Cape Dutch architecture are the distinctive features of the beautiful Winelands region. Route 62, linking the Winelands, Breed River Valley and Klein Karoo is reputed to be the world’s longest wine route.
Cape Town is by common consent one of the worlds most beautiful cites. Dominated by the world famous landmark Table Mountain and blessed with a spectacular coastline and a Mediterranean-type climate. Set between two oceans, the city is an amalgam of European, Eastern (Malay) and African cultures, whose influence may be seen in the architecture, lifestyle, music, food and wine, customs and way of life of Capetonians.
