Itinerary

Day 1
An Ambula Tours representative will meet you at your Durban hotel and transfer you by road to Shakaland for an excursion of a lifetime. We get an opportunity to feel the vibe and rhythm of Africa with some traditional Zulu dancing. Lunch is a full buffet combining Western and more traditional African foods. We then move further inland, into the heart of Zululand. Arrive at your choice of Game Lodge and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 2
Enjoy a full day safari experience in open land rover vehicles in the African bush, and home of the “Big 5” – rhino, elephant, leopard, lion and buffalo.

Day 3
Early morning breakfast before heading on to the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, a proclaimed World Heritage Site. Here we take a 2 hour boat ride up the Estuary, one of the largest in Africa and home to some 800 hippo, 2000 crocodiles, plus varied birdlife.

Day 4
Road transfer to Durban International Airport for onward or homeward bound travel.
