Course Description
Here the golfer may encounter buffaloes, lions, leopards, impalas, kingfishers, crocodiles, hippos and much other wildlife. Is the Hans Merensky Country Club a facility for playing golf or is it a game reserve? This question may well be asked, judging by the abundance of wild animals on this astonishingly beautiful par-72 layout, which borders South Africa’s largest game reserve, the Kruger National Park. Hans Merensky is not a particularly long course, but a challenging one that has hosted many tournaments on the Sunshine Tour. A point to note is to watch out for the crocodiles in the water hazards!
