Course Description
Founded in 1929, Beachwood is situated next to the sea and the first nine holes meander through high dunes interspersed with mangrove swamps. It is an area so enchanting that it has been proclaimed a nature reserve and a national monument. In 1994, the Gary Player Design Company was commissioned to completely remodel the 18 holes. The first nine holes running through the dunes, swamps and indigenous bush are now outstanding. The back nine at Beachwood is far more open than the outward loop and has a links quality about it.
