Hilltop Camp - Three star |
|
Hotel Description
Hilltop’s traditional thatch design merges tastefully with the natural surroundings, and at a high altitude the camp is cooler than the rest of the reserve. The camp, the oldest in KwaZulu-Natal, was extensively rebuilt and enlarged in the early nineties, and today accommodation at Hilltop ranges from a luxury lodge to a variety of superbly appointed self-catering accommodation facilities. All units are serviced daily.
Comfort is the keynote of Hilltop’s chalets, with spacious bedrooms and wide verandas. Amenities available include a petrol station, a well-stocked curio shop, a convenience store and a secluded swimming pool. Guided bush walks and open-vehicle safaris offer guests with superb opportunities for close-encounters with the “Big Five”. Guests may partake in the culinary delights of the Mpunyane Restaurant (a la carte) and the Uzavolo Bar and Lounge are the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely pre-dinner drink.
