Hotel Description
Lynton Hall has been host to royalty, prime ministers and was selected by King George VI and his family for his recuperation in 1952. The "Chequers" of South Africa, Botha House is also on the estate and was given to the nation by Reynolds to be used by its presidents and prime ministers.
Named ‘Top 80 Hotels’ by Conde Nast Traveller. Renowned for its 9 incomparably styled superior suites with air-conditioning, heated towel rails, free standing baths and a choice of fireplaces. All suites are uniquely decorated in the Indian Colonial style. Their Award-winning Restaurant serves sumptuous breakfasts, lunches and dinners either overlooking the magnificent gardens or in the candle lit Dining Hall. The cooking philosophy of the movement initiated by Five Star Master Chef, Richard Carstens.
