Zimbali Lodge, located in a forest surrounded by a championship 18-hole golf course designed by world renowned Tom Weiskopf. Zimbali, Zulu for "Valley of Flowers", the estate on which the new lodge is established, is in the heart of a haven of naturally occurring lakes and wetlands.
All rooms offer five-star luxury, designed to harmonize in tone and style with the natural surrounding forest. The African/Classical architecture is epitomised by warm wood tones, which flow through to both floor and wall décor. Rooms are situated in lodges (2 Lodges x 8 rooms and 6 lodges x 10 rooms), away from the main building, in the magnificent gardens surrounding the main lodge. Bathrooms are luxurious with freestanding Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has its own balcony and faces the lagoon, sea and forest. Suites inter-lead to adjoining twin-bedded rooms. A very select ensemble of delicious snacks and light meals graces our room service menu, which is served by the butler. Newspapers are delivered each day.
